Catch Up.. The Month of December!

We haven't updated our blog in sooo long!  We have been so busy lately and December was such a crazy month too.  Here are a bunch of pictures from the month of December to show you some of the things we have been up to the past little bit!

Our van on the way to Mexico for Kaiizen trip.. Ugly sweater contest at In-n-out

A few of our favorite pictures from our trip to the orphanage in Mexico.  What a rewarding experience...It's a good reminder of how blessed we are!

It's been too long!

Our blog has not gotten much attention lately!  The month of December was absolutely crazy.  We went to Mexico with Kaiizen, watched our nephew Carter for a few days, finished up the semester and finals, went to Nebraska for Christmas, and hung out in Sandy for New Years!  With all the business, we haven't been very diligent about updating our blog.  We will post pictures soon of all our adventures!  We are excited for the new year and to get back in the swing of things after a fun break with family and friends!

Halloween

Halloween was super fun.. Tay came down from Sandy to hang with us and we went to dinner for Carmen's birthday (sadly.. I didn't take any pictures), then we went to Mark and Libby's for a dance party and a movie!  It was a great Halloween!  Here are a few pictures!!

Figuring out my life!

I just recently decided to change my major!  I was debating but I talked to a few advisors and got my schedule all figured out and everything seems to be falling into place.  I am now going to apply to the athletic training program!  It will add some time onto my school but I think it will be worth it in the long run!  I am super excited about it so hopefully I get into the program.  I apply in December and should find out a couple weeks after I apply.  I know I should have probably made this decision sooner.. but I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life!  Scott is so great and so supportive of my decision!  He really encouraged me to change my major because he knew I would like it a lot more than exercise science!  He really is such a blessing to me and always so amazing!  I'll keep you all posted when I hear if I got accepted or not!

The love of my life!

How could I not have fallen in love with this face?! haha!

Summer Time!

Summertime has been so relaxing!  Since Scott and I aren't in school we are both working full time.  Once we get home from work we get to play all night!  We have been taking advantage of the extra time and doing fun outdoorsy summertime stuff!  We love summer!

Having a picnic in our front lawn with Scott, Allison, Mark and Libby after we went rock climbing up Rock Canyon!

Bently, Scott's cousin's daughter, at our campfire up American Fork Canyon.  We are in love with her.. she is so ADORABLE!

Visiting my Family in Nebraska

Last week Scott and I went to visit my family in Nebraska.  We got to be there for a few days to hang out with the fam and do some fun things.  My sister graduated from high school so we were able to be there for that!  We were excited because that means she will be coming out to BYU sooner.  She will be here in the fall which will be tons of fun!  We also went and saw Wicked with my family.  It was so amazing... Scott and I both loved it.  We also just got to hang out at my house with my family and chat and play games which was awesome too since we don't get to do that very often!  We are really glad we were able to be out there for a few days and can't wait until we get to see my family again!

Big Cottonwood Canyon

This weekend Scott and I went camping in Big Cottonwood Canyon.  We found a sweet spot up the canyon... it was so pretty!  We made a fire and ate foil dinners and then relaxed and enjoyed the nice weather and beautiful outdoors!  The next morning we went climbing with Tay at Dogwood.  It was a really fun weekend!

Right after climbing....

Scott up on the wall...
